Doctors give trusted answers on uses, effects, side-effects, and cautions Dr. Werner on plaquenil side effects You need eye and other monitoring but it is relatively safe and well tolerated. Newly diagnosed with early RA, rheumatologist started me on 200mg Plaquenil 1x/day for first two weeks, going up to 2x/day after two weeks. She told me it's very safe and generally well tolerated. Then about a week after going up to the full dosage I woke up feeling shaky, anxious, heart pounding, kinda cold and sweaty. Plaquenil, on the other hand, appears to have no interactions on this level, and could be considered a safe choice for the combination. Conclusion. There is a copious amount of evidence that supports the use of CBD as an anti-inflammatory substance. It is well tolerated and produces clinically relevant health effects.

Taking Plaquenil for Rheumatoid Arthritis The usual starting dose of Plaquenil is 200 mg twice a day or 400 mg once a day, administered orally, in people weighing 80 kg or more. The usual dosage works for most people who take Plaquenil, but it is possible to increase or decrease the dose based on individual needs.
